Book Nook Craft

A book nook, aka a diorama, is a tiny scene placed between the books on a bookshelf to give the illusion of a peek into another world, similar to how a book is a portal to another place or time for your imagination. Using miniatures and craft supplies, create a literary inspired book nook to add a sense of wonder to your bookshelf!

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Nantucket Historical Association, as part of a crafting event series for teens this fall. We will alternate each week between hosting crafts at the Atheneum and the Whaling Museum. Join us on Wednesdays in November & December to marble paper, weave bangle bracelets, and more!
