CANCELLED: Middle School Makers: Print Making at the Whaling Museum

Gelli Plates allow for complex multi layered prints easily learned by a beginner. We will learn how to utilize stencils, stamps, and found objects to make expressive prints exploring shape, form, and color to print on paper.  The resulting prints can be framed, made into cards, books and lots of other possibilities.

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Nantucket Historical Association, as part of a crafting event series for teens this spring. We will alternate each week between hosting crafts at the Atheneum and the Whaling Museum. Join us on Wednesdays in March & April to practice print making, making book tins, and more!
