Pianist Stephen Porter returns to the Atheneum with a program that includes Mendelssohn's Songs Without Words, Schubert's rarely heard  Drei Klavierstücke D. 946, written six months before the composer's death at the age of 31, and a group of Chopin pieces including a Mazurka, Nocturne, Waltz and one of his final masterpieces, the Barcarolle.

Stephen Porter has performed this season in Singapore, India, and Paris as an artist resident of the Cité Internationale des Arts.
