Half-Share Man

Island musician, Mollie Glazer has collaborated with playwright, Joan Bigwood to create a new musical about the Nantucket colonists. It is based on the book “Half-Share Man“ by Clarence King that follows the life of Peter Folger from his arrival to New England and the divisions that ensued in the early days of the Nantucket colony. The Atheneum, in collaboration with the NHA and NCMC will present a staged reading with music, accompanied by an ensemble of musicians.  January 27, 2024 from 6-8pm (January 28 as a bad weather date) in the Great Hall of the Atheneum.
