An informative session about marine mammal rescue with the Marine Mammal Alliance of Nantucket. Learn more about what they do and who they are as well as how YOU can get involved in this rewarding experience. Volunteer opportunities can include: searching, monitoring, relocating &/or rescuing stranded marine mammals, providing educational opportunities to the public, collecting scientific data on deceased marine mammals & more. MMAN is the only legally authorized organization that can work with marine mammals on Nantucket. Join this informative session to learn how anyone can help or even join the team!
