Nantucket Young Playwrights Staged Reading

Each year, a group of Nantucket High School students assemble for multiple sessions to create 10-minute plays for staged readings by a range of actors.  Nantucket Young Playwrights is mentored by program founder and filmmaker Jay Craven.  The program is a collaborative effort of the Nantucket Atheneum, The White Heron Theatre, and Kingdom County Productions. Come watch this free performance at the White Heron Theatre as actors do a stage reading of the works of our young playwrights!
