Unlucky in love this Valentine's Day? Don't worry, we've got the purr-fect event for you! Join the Nantucket Atheneum and Nantucket Island Safe Harbor for Animals (NiSHA) for a festive Valentine's Crazy Cat Lady Purr-ty! Come dressed in your best "Cat Lady" ensemble for a chance to win fun cat-themed prizes, enjoy refreshments, mingle with other cat lovers, and meet NiSHA's therapy cat heartthrob, Wasabi. You don't have to be single, a lady or even have cats—all are welcome! NiSHA representatives will be in attendance with information about our local shelter's available felines looking for homes and to answer cat questions. If a few kittens want to break out of the shelter to party downtown, shelter staff may have a few tagging along to meet and greet potential adopters! Adoption applications will be available to begin the adoption process (please note: no felines will be leaving with event attendees that day/evening).
