Best selling author and Harvard Neuroscientist Lisa Genova offers a fascinating exploration of the intricacies of how we remember, why we forget, and what we can do to protect our memories.

Genova sits down to discuss how memories are made and how we retrieve them with Dianne Bein, program director for PASCON. In Genova's new book Remember, she explains why some forgotten memories are temporarily inaccessible or erased forever and why some are built to exist for only a few seconds (like a passcode) while others can last a lifetime (your wedding day).

Lisa Genova has written the novels Still Alice, Love Anthony, Left Neglected, and Every Note Played. Remember is her first work of nonfiction. Genova holds a PhD in neuroscience from Harvard University and speaks worldwide on neurological diseases. Her TED talk, 'What You Can Do To Prevent Alzheimer's', has been viewed over 2 million times.

The program is free admission, but registration is required. Please sign up online.
