Porch Concert Series: Mollie Glazer and Susan Salidor

The Nantucket Community Music Center and the Nantucket Atheneum are partnering to present a series of six concerts on the Weezie Library for Children porch. Bring a chair or a blanket and settle in for some live music by local musicians. This week, Mollie Glazer and Susan Salidor will perform.

Singer/songwriter Susan Salidor is an award-winning children’s musician with eight albums and over 100 original songs to her credit. Susan has performed for families, designed music workshops for educators and taught early childhood music to young children for more than twenty years. Recently two of her most well-known songs have been turned into picture books for children: I’ve Got Peace In My Fingers and One Little Act of Kindness. Susan lives in Chicago but cherishes her visits to Nantucket! 

Mollie Glazer is the artistic director emerita of the Nantucket Community Music Center. She has taught and performed on the island since 1992. Trained at New England Conservatory and The Royal Conservatory of The Netherlands, she has performed and recorded with many of this country’s early music ensembles and is a regular soloist at the Bethlehem Bach Festival in Pennsylvania.
