Event Details

Learn to recreate these souvenirs of the Caribbean favored by Nantucket whalemen during the nineteenth century! Sailors’ Valentines make wonderful gifts and beautiful home accents.

This event is hosted in collaboration with the Nantucket Historical Association, as part of a crafting event series for teens this fall. We will alternate each week between hosting crafts at the Atheneum and the Whaling Museum. Join us on Wednesdays in November & December to marble paper, weave bangle bracelets, and more!
